Coronavirus Update

UPDATE: The State's Regional Stay Home Order is in place for Marin County until further notice. However, we are excited to resume offering Private Tours of our sanctuary, beginning in March of 2021. Click here for more information about how to arrange for a Private Tour.

We at Rancho Compasión (both animals AND humans) are looking forward to seeing you at our 2021 events. The animal residents have been preparing in order to renew their friendships with you. We were all looking forward to the day when we can meet up with you again to help brighten our days.

Due to the State’s Stay Home order, all gatherings with members of other households are prohibited, except as expressly permitted in the CDPH Regional Stay Home Order.  The Stay Home Order temporarily supersedes Marin County's Risk Reduction order, which means gatherings previously allowed under the three-household and social bubble guidance are prohibited while the Stay Home order is active. Visit CDPH’s Regional Stay Home Order webpage to track the region’s available ICU capacity, learn more about the order, or see what’s permitted under the order.

As a result, while the Stay Home restrictions are in place, we are still unable to offer our in-person programs (tours, visitor days, our Humane Ed program). We will continue posting updates on Facebook and Instagram. Thank you for understanding, and for your continued support of Rancho Compasión. Donations can be made here.
